Biography

Angel Borrell received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering, the M.S. degree in automation and industrial electronics engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain, in 1993, 2006, and 2012, respectively. Since 1994, he has been an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Escola Universitària Salesiana de Sarrià, Autonomous University of Barcelona, Barcelona, where he teaches courses on electrical machines and automation. His research interests are in the areas of power electronics, electric motor drives, and renewable energy systems.

Modeling of electrical networks. Voltage unbalance compensation in microgrids. Power sharing in microgrids
